The registry entry for HLKM\Security\Phone\Skin Enabled = 1 (to allow smart dialer) is duplicated and set to 0 in the OEM folder RSSI_Icons.dll. When I cooked my own registry entry to set that key to enabled, this RSSI_Icons.dll one came along and over-wrote my change every time. I think it might be becuase the UUID I got for my own use is a lower "number" than the RSSI_Icons.dll one, so it went in later and overwrote mine (I used a different UUID from ImCokeMan's since I'm making my own changes). In fact, going back to ImCokeMan's UUID, it is much higher than the RSSI_Icons.dll UUID, which makes sense - his change superseded the one that came before it which is why his registry entry remained and mine was lost.
This may not be the best place to post this, but I'm working with ImCokeMan's tutorial so I figured this is as good a place as any. So, when you make registry edits, be sure they aren't also being made somewhere else in the kitchen!
