Re: i cant get wifi to turn on. AT ALL :(

ok, i think i may have figured out my problem. now i just need help fixing it (hopefully without a hard reset). when i go to settings/connections/wifi/network adapters- shouldnt it be at "IEEE 802.11b/g compatible wifi ad"? well mine is not, and it wont stay at the IEEE setting. is there a registry value that possibly got changed? is there anyway to get it to stay at IEEE 802.11b/g compatible? thanks in advance if anyone can help me. and for trying if you do
