Edit: looks like Colonel beat me too it and with a safer answer too, but here's what i said anyway...
As long as you stay on the same AKU, which in this case is 3.3 for both roms, you should be fine. In fact even the pim.vol issue shouldn't occur if you copy from Colonel's first rom to this one, or even to any other custom 3.3 rom
