Unfortunately it is the phone, I have a plantronics voyager pro plus and it is also choppy as hell when playing music from this phone, I emailed HTC yesterday and I need more guys like you to email them too and nag so they can put out an update to fix it!!!!! Unless someone here has a fix.....
