i don't think you can do it without the usb cable because you have to downgrade the hboot to a previous version before you can do anything. unless things have changed, which i don't think they have, that's the way to do it. you could look into repairing your usb port, but without it, i'm not sure if its possible. i would go onto xda and ask them because there's not too many people in this forum anymore.
