They are Li Ion after all

You can't go by "they are li ion.." as they are all the same or are safe.
Remember the recall on the batteries made for Sony and Apple, where the laptops would catch on fire or burn the person's lap?
Japanese cells usually have higher quality standards, even if assembled in China, but there is the mosfet to consider.
What caught my eye was this auction
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=012
They claim twin mosfet on their battery.. I am not saying it's better or recommending or suggesting using buying this one over the other, just shedding some light.
I too am considering buying the 2x 1400 from the OP auction and a wall charger. I am looking to see if I can find a wall/usb combo charger and also looking at the various dual phone/battery cradles..
So now I was wondering if the mah rating is different on batteries that work on 3.6 and 4.2v as well.. In other words does the mah rated on the battery pertain to the voltage rating required by the equiptment or is the manuafacturer claiming the highest mah and the lower voltage use?
What strikes me is those cellnet 900mah batteries.. why would someone want to buy a battery that is less than stock?
