Hi, I bought a Fathom locked, since Im in Argentina I want to unlock for GSM service, I was reading your post, please can yoiu tell how can I acces to :

In the following Registry Key,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone\SecurityTab
you will find key
ExtendedPIN
with value
\windows\SimLockSecurity.dll

Just rename the value "SimLockSecurity.dll" to Some other Name,
for example:- \windows\OriSimLockSecurity.dll
Save & Restrart the Phone.

After restarting the phone, "SimLock" menu doesn't appear in
Phone Security settings tap.

My phone originally came with sim-unlocked state. After disabling
SimLockSecurity.dll, my phone works as usual.

Those who have their phones with GSM SIM-LOCKED, please test this
settings & Reply whether this settings removes the SIMLOCK.[/QUOTE]
