Edit 2: So after reading more I'm wondering if it could be related to my radio. I am still on version CDMA: 0.97.10.0808 looks like with the 2.17 update I should be on CDMA: 1.06.00.1216. At least according to what I saw on xda ( [RADIO] HTC Evo 3D (CDMA) Radios [PG86IMG.zip] (Updated: 18 Jan 2012) - xda-developers). Should that help with my restart issues? The first one

you should definitely be on the latest radios....if that does not fix your issue, you may want to start over with superwipe & fresh flash.
