Someone else had this same problem. Here were my instructions to him.

When you do the ##RTN#, write down your MSID (just in case it is different than your phone number).

You should then download the official verizon rom from here:

http://www.utstarcom.com/pcd/downloa...11000_Ship.exe

and flash it. That should bring you back to a pristine Verizon phone. Then you can cautiously flash to one of these new roms if you want to.

Does Verizon do the MDN/MSID programming automatically with a *228? I kind of think they do but have never seen that in action, so I'm not sure. With Sprint I know you have to do it manually, but I think Verizon does it for you (partly why they use an MSL consisting of all zeroes)
