Re: CDMA not working in india

Dear hero121,

No need to know things like SID, MID, MIN, MCC, MNC & all.

1) Register MEID with Reliance.
2) Check whether your MEID is registered.
3) Please get 26 digit AKey for your mobile (That's very important) from whom you registered MEID
4) Use QPST->Connect Phone->EFS explorer->Look for /ERI folder->
Right click ERI.BIN-> Delete
5) Restart your phone
6) Input AKey (dial 2539** in CDMA mode, you will get AKey box)
7) All completing this procedures, go to reliance Stores, Either get GSK (New Number-with 9 digit Pin Number) or ask them to transfer your existing CDMA number
to the set.
In case GSK, you can do it yourself. Dial *228, input 9 digit number. You are activated.

9) VERY IMPORTANT.
Once you registered, please back-up NVs using LGNPST or QPST.
(Also Note Your MIN, SID, NID, MCC, MNC - in case you missed your NV)
That's all

Here I want to know if you do a hard reset to your phone will it not reset to its previous position ?
Yes. Phone will revert to its original position. That's why I recommend you have a NV backup once you get registered to reliance. If you have NV, No problem. Personally after registration I have backed up NV. I flashed 3 ROMs, restored NV. Happy with working.
