If I'm tethered(internet sharing) using Windows Mobile and I push the power button or the screen turns off or I engage the screen lock my phone stays connected until I disconnect it manually. I've stayed tethered for hours. Works great. Anyone having trouble in WinMo might want to try running Shaggy's Suspend Resume Cab.
