Just a general update, Latest OTA updates the radio and seems to have improved transition from 4g to 3g. Also overall seems a tad quicker and Antutu benchmarks improved (over 6K) on the stock rom.
Also I was able to relock, flash original ruu, accept OTA, unlock bootloader again, flash amon and root so that's cool. Once you get the hang of it with a little patience, it's well worth it.
