Just install the trial version of the Voice Command.
I had a similar problem, but with the speaker, not bluetooth. I can't remember which rom it was on, since I've flashed 4 different roms in the last 2weeks.
When I would hit the button for VC, I could not hear the beep that let me know the mic was listening, and I could not hear the acknowledgement of whatever command I gave.
I reintalled VC, and I believe that fixed it.
I don't have a headset w/ me to test, the speaker works for acknowlegements, but I can't get it to announce an incoming call.
I never use that feature, but I can try re-installing VC to see if that fixes it.
