Why don't you guys just fix it yourselves? Or are you worried about voiding the warranty? You can buy bulk lots of micro usb's, just buy a 10 Watt soldering iron from radio shack with a fine tip. While you're there get some desoldering rope, electronic solder, copper steel wool and if you need it a rosin pen. Its easy and kind of fun....I fix BMW gauge panels in my spare time for fun, just remember you heat the part then add solder, not with the iron.
