Oh, don't worry about it. We put so much time into this. It is annoying that we do not have a solution.

Again i appologize deaply for your troubles :/ i dont know why so much went wrong , it almost seems like you should task29 and flash back to stock just to completely wipe out everything . i never experienced so much trouble with stock .

I confirmed with HTC that a hard reset would erase all prior settings and return the device to an initial turnon state. The 'clear storage' in the settings menu does not do so. It is a partial reset.
I did the full Hard Reset and the device turned on to Initialize mode.
It cleared everything out like new.

task29
flashed stock
Installed mortscript
installed my script
installed lockdevice
soft reset
Launched file explorer
pressed the power button
waited a few moments
pressed power button again
unlocked the phone
it flashed file explorer for like a second
then showed the today screen

I did the same, but before launching file explorer, I tapped the Unlock to Home icon. After first message, I went to Start....then Home icon. Second message appeared and I tapped OK.
I completed the last few steps but it opens on file explorer and remains there.

Thats exactly what i did when i tested it on stock . i seriously dont know why its not working for you . it really makes me wanna steal your device and figure it out xP i just hate it when simple things like this go wrong . :/

I can't figure it out either. We both flashed back to stock. We both installed the apps in almost the identical order. I did set up my email and restore my contacts to the device first but neither should have affected the device. We both tested the Unlock script the same way, but my device won't work.
Did you ALSO install the Screen off when locked script? You did not mention it in your steps. Remember, my device had both scripts running. If you did not have the Screen Off script installed, then install it and retry the Unlock script. Maybe one affects the other. Okay, it's a long shot but what the heck.
Simple turned out to be not so simple. Right now, I don't know where else we can go with this. If you can think of anything else, please feel free to post.
Regards,
