Didnt see anything about the ex3 format of data.img in there though, but i feel like it did help a bit. If anyone wants to give it a shot :S though I have no idea if the default data.img that android creates is ex3 or not. I just had the same data.img from a couple releases ago so that may have been the problem

Default uses ext2. ext3 seems like it would be useless on an SD card. nilfs seems like a good idea, if it was only more mature... the whole snapshot cleanup was annoying.
