I personally have all my contacts on a sim card.
I know that the tp2 doesnt really use a sim card but I just save my contact on it

Then when I flash or hard reset, i copy over my contacts and then remove it.

I took the sim card off my moms old nextel phone and it worked fine.
Maybe you can just get a sim card from any kinda phone
