funny... so I went back to my 3.16 kitchen, and it appears that most of the changes were in the radio rom, cuz my device is faster and snappier than before this ordeal.
GPS fix is quick, internet seems to stay connected. Not sure why else I would really push for 3.35 anymore...
still, it'd be nice to know this works. For now I'm ok.
