Yes the US radio I was refering to was WU. But I don't think that the Radio itself is what frees the TX/RX of the US GSM frequencies. As I mentioned before, I installed a Verizon Rom which has the correct Radio that works with US carriers on the Sprint Phone but Still it did not pick up US GSM frequencies, which tells me that the actual locking is not in the Radio itself. NVram has assignments to each frequency used and from what I saw, it assigns TX/RX antennas to each frequency. I found that one of the frequencies used by US carriers was not assigned any Antenna, neither for transmission nor for reception. I played with one of the flags and it looks like the phone started to communicate, on limited bases, with the US GSM towers. I know because the Reception bar on top displayed a different message after I did that. So I think that If I can find all the NV items that should be adjusted we might be able to to turn On communication between the Sprint TP2 and GSM frequencies used by US carriers without the need to reflash a WU radio. I just did not have time to work on this last couple of weeks. I've been too busy. I wish I had a Verizon TP2 to compare NV items on both versions to see what is different, and I would have been able to test the SIM unlocking on the Verizon TP2 too. I'm trying to get a Verizon TP2 phone, off of ebay, but couldn't get one for a reasonable price so far.
