Everyone already knew that SprintTV and 6.1 was not going to be in the ROM... So your mad that you don't have access to 37 NON-Cable channels, of which maybe 4 or 5 are even worth considering. The rest is just crap.
As for 6.1... why don't you do a search on google for it.. your only really missing out on threaded SMS... thats about it. WM6.1 is really only a minor cosmetic fix at best, and most of the "features" only show on SmartPhones.. not PocketPCs. What you really want is WM7 which isn't anywhere near released.. for anything.
My PIE is faster than it has ever been (Along with everything else). I went to the site you mention and it loaded the whole page in about 10 seconds.. scrolling.. ya it was a bit slow, but not painfully slow or unreasonable. It might have something to do with the fact that
www.thestreamcenter.com is over 1MB of primarily text. If I go to "OH" for Ohio, the page is much smaller.. and it's much faster. Of course you could read the homepage where it recommends you use the PDA formatted site at
http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pda/ where it wasn't any slower than any other site.
I guess I fail to "See how slow it is now!".
I know how to fix your problem however. Switch providers and get an iPhone... at least that way you won't have to worry about upgrades and ROMs and Flashing.. cause that isn't available. Problem Solved.
