I dont think it would be worth the time to return our 3d's just yet... thou they may not register online as white 3d's I think we may be able to get them switched. I say this because if its just a housing thing then all we would need to do is wait a little while for sprint to get white replacement parts and just have them redo the housing on our black ones. I have had it done a few times with my original evo 4g.. it was a white one but after the cool fator wore off( as well as the white paint) I simply took it to the store and had them replace the housing with a black one, not just the battery cover and you couldnt tell if I had a white one to begin with so if the same is true here we should be able to do the same eventually
