Huh, like that's anything new. It really is a shame though. People get pretty brave when facing a monitor, eh? It's REALLY bad on the bike forums I frequent. Zero tolerance.
People actually need to take extra care when communicating via text b/c there is no tone. The same post could be taken multiple ways depending on the mindset of the reader. I try to think of all the ways that my message could be taken and add a "not to offend" or "don't take this THIS way b/c here's how I intend it to be interpreted" kinda crap.
Still doesn't always work out.
Either way, there are way too many people out there that are brave behind the PC b/c they can't be that way in REAL life. It's a way for them to get it out of their system w/o gunning down the local college campus at least, eh?
