HTC ExtUSB Plug to 3.5 2.5 Audio Jack ExtUSB Converter | eBay
ebay search "HTC extusb" and grab one of these boxes. Granted you have to take it apart and cut a wire, but it works!
Well, and get an "iPod video cable" for 3.5mm -> TV out cable that will work.
