As for the ram comment..as far as I am aware they all are using LP DDR2 which is faster then then the old LP DDR ram..

Last I read, HTC uses DDR, not DDR II because the boards didn't support them. I will find the link and add it here. But if that's the case, they are bandwidth limited.
That's what I was thinking, that 2.3.3, 2.3.4 didn't have
native support. I know that apps via smp can be mutithreaded but HTC hasn't included support in sense 3.0, much like they didn't include drivers for hardware graphics rendering for a bunch of thier phone lineup pre evo.
