Well phonealarm and Voice command are resource hogs (and maybe some of those other programs you're running are as well) so you may not see much of a speed boost just by re-installing some apps over to the card.
The SD card and the Apache have a contentuous relationship, at best. As a result, you really don't want to install apps on the card if you can help it... especially things that you run often and/or appear on the Today screen. These will almost certainly cause the DSOD (Dark Screen of Death), which is a condition where the phone screen is off and battery is rapidly draining but none of the buttons are responsive. Aside from a soft reset, the only way to exit that state is to pop out the SD card. Usually within a few seconds you will see your screen light back up.
It's a really annoying problem that has plagued this device from the beginning. The more apps you install on the SD card, the greater likelihood you will encounter DSODs periodically. So, keeping that in mind, go ahead and install some programs that you use sparingly (maybe Opera and Wi-Fi Compantion). Do not install apps like InClose or Phonealarm over there because they are constantly running.
And most apps will give you the ability to choose Main memory or the SD card while installing. Just watch for that option when you install your programs. Some do not give you the option and that's by design because for some reason or another the need to be in main memory.
