First, I don't think you can use the 'android' folder from FRX06. Not sure tho, I've honestly never mucked with it. If you don't have one, it will create one on boot yes.
You can reuse calibration files, no problem.

Thanks ARRRRGH, well it seems you can, however I admit that I am unsure, like I said if I was hurting the 07 setup, as I couldn't see any difference after I deleted the data file in andboot, and removed the android folder, which was then remade on 1st boot. (got 07 to build its own).
My problem seems to have been that renaming a folder to andboot, while using computer directly to adapter for memory card, the phone sees it as = ANDBOOT (all caps) instead of lowercase, which seems to cause things to fail. Had to rename with wm6 instead, and all is ok again.
I go back to 06 which is working well enough, just like I went back to 03 when 06 wasnt working for me, I think of if as a system restore point, like Acronis True Image, if you know what I mean, lol. I hate my mind's memory, I can hardly recall what each app is that I like, so I have to boot the old one to recall it, as the "market" doesnt seem to keep a list that me (who has to sign in to use it, downloaded in the past... which is stupid.).
How do I shut down XDADroid now?
when I press the red (hangup/end call key) in 07, I no longer get the airplane mode/shutdown choices. so how are you shutting your phone down, I have to remove battery, is that my only choice now?
Still getting about 4 or less hours out of batteries out here in the boonies (kansas) with Verizon (yes they suck, terrible reception/coverage). But so far no data connection loss causing reboots... Luckily I have 3 batteries I swap with my TP2.
Im looking for a car charger for just the battery if anyone knows of one, so I can charge spare battery while using the phone, WHEN NOT HOME (think camping, without houshold electricity, 12v only)...
