Re: ★SharkieROM★6/4/11-Updated★Version 5.1★Generic\Sprint★29020\21916★Sense2021
Hello Sharkie and crew,
I purchased an USCC version tp2 thinking it was GSM because the person said he had been using it on ATT, Tmobile. But with the help of horndocter I was able to flash your rom(sharkieROM v5.1 WWE). Radio: 1.96.0ESN...The person I bought it from told me not to flash the radio (shrug). But my tmobile sim works.
I read up a good amount on different cdma roms, and I do really like yours. Call me crazy but I'm actually not someone who loves flashing every rom, I just like to find one that I like and is very stable, and stay with it. I believe yours will be that rom.
Now for a couple of questions. Before this TP2 I was using a Motorola zn5. In the menu options there is an IM/Email app that allows you to use email, and IM(in my case Windows live) as text messages. This is important to me because I have friends in South America who can only enter the internet 5-15mins of a day and so to stay in contact with them I need to be connected.
My plan is the $15/month unlimited text prepaid. No data. I am having a terrible time finding the Tmobile IM App that works through SMS instead of Data. If anyone could help me here that would be great.
Second. I doubt this is your rom(Roms have never affect this program) but if you have any ideas I would greatly welcome them. I have always used a program, WT CDrom mobile. This is a program that has the bible and many bible related articles. It's suppose to be compatible with all window devices except windows 7.
It loads up fine, and you see the list of options of the bible, magazines, references, etc. But the moment you try to enter something to read it there are only bubbles, instead of words. It reminds me on my netbook when there are chinese characters or something and they are displayed as bubbles instead. Any idea how to rectify this?
I did not load the program before flashing your rom, so I have no idea if it would have done the same thing prior.
I was a big TPC fan for my tilt, and tilt2 because they were so stable, and you have really done great on your rom from what I've seen. Thanks
Michael
