I was having same problem. I downloaded a 3D-converted Jurassic Park movie in .mp4 format and placed on my storage card. I couldn't get it to play or open. However, I connected my device to my PC using "disk drive", then used my PC's explorer to open the .mp4 file and it played. I then closed it, disconnected the USB cord. I have the .mp4 file located in the DCIM media folder. On the EVO3D, open Gallery app and find the video, it will then play.
