For option A, I can't find a .cab to run. What am I missing?

I tried option B. First I just extracted the file by right-clicking and extracting to the SD card. Then I copied the startup.txt in Windows Explorer. When that didn't work, I tried using 7zip on my PC to extract to the SD card and to copy the startup.txt. Is that right? I guess it's just not clear to me why I need to use 7zip, and which steps I use it for. Do I use it to extract and copy, or just to copy the startup.txt?

3. Should it take a really, really long time to install? Once I get to the step where I run haret.exe, it takes at least 30 minutes to run and get to the XDANDROID screen. Is that normal?

There hasn't been a cab file in ages... It was problematic and actually took longer (although it did make handy dandy shortcuts ).
