Strange...I wonder if your GPS issues stem from the setup you have on your device? In other words, the rom you are running or settings that have been changed for one reason or another. I use both Bing and Telenav and keep QuickGPS updated and things work smoothly except when I loose cellular signal for a moment. That may also be what is happening to you. Maybe you would be better served using an app that doesn't require a data connection? I'm not sure what to suggest though.
Hi horndoctor, I'm running Lead ROM, maybe that is the problem? QuickGPS is autoupdated as well. It's very strange, as it is an intermittent problem. Now I'm beginning to think that my Waze problems were somehow related to this, whatever it is :-/
Hmm...well Lead Rom is a good choice so I don't suspect that but maybe it's something you have installed since your flash. Maybe try doing a hard reset or maybe even Task29 then reflash Lead Rom, then update QuickGPS, then reinstall Bing and whatever else you want to try and see if you have better results. Then if you still can't get GPS to function I'd say you have a hardware problem.
