Strange...I wonder if your GPS issues stem from the setup you have on your device? In other words, the rom you are running or settings that have been changed for one reason or another. I use both Bing and Telenav and keep QuickGPS updated and things work smoothly except when I loose cellular signal for a moment. That may also be what is happening to you. Maybe you would be better served using an app that doesn't require a data connection? I'm not sure what to suggest though.
