What we're after is having the app, or something else, show the gmail unread count on the lock screen. Having the app there just let's us launch it, but doesn't say how many unread emails there are. Thanks though

Hey, SMS unread count is perfect for a widget! Even uses the gmail icon so it looks like the app launcher with unread count. Now we just need this on the lockscreen too! I haven't tried gmail unread count, but my friend says it's perfect too. Thanks to both!
