I've been on the 1.2 stable rom for a few weeks now. recently I started to be plagued with the high "android system" usage killing battery.

I tried the XDA radio fix as well all the listed GPS drivers... but nothing has worked. today I had the phone on over 6 hours, when I checked batt usage.. after my last attempt (using the nightly CM7 driver) I saw no signs of Android system and thought i was in the clear. then I checked about an hour later.... and "Android system" was now using 20%. WTF?

I thought of flashing to 1.2.1 but don't feel like redoing my phone again if its not going to solve the issue and I see no mention of the problem in the changelog. (even with backups.,. I always have some apps that don't work and need to reinstall..and homescreen widgets that need to get redone)

Any suggestions? I LOVE this rom until this started..
