Well I did this fix on Friday and I have not lost my storage card since!@!@!
I installed the 3.3 Rom the Friday before and I lost my storage card at least once a day so I think its safe to say that this has resolved my storage card issues. I was also having the same issue on the 2.2 rom because of this same problem.
