Now when it comes to call/sms filters im very anal about the settings, i for one absolutely hate when the phone rings then hangs up ive always searched for an app that would block Privet/Restricted/Block numbers or a Certain Number and texts without allowing my phone to ring once, ive tried everything from Root Call Blocker Pro and Extreme Call Blocker Droid. Then after months(actually a year) of searching i finally found the right app. Call Control.
This app is free & doesn't require root (for those who dont want to root) and it filters the calls before ever reaching your phone so that means the "incoming Call" screen will not pop up for a quick second (distracting you from your task at hand I.E. Text or Game).
