Dear Dread,

I understand how important it is for you to receive correct information about your device. We do not know why, but it has been confirmed that the Flashlight application, Battery Widget, and Animation for the screen shut off was removed intentionally.

You can search the Market for other Battery Widgets that will suit your needs. You can search for applications such as Bat Stat Widget or Battery Widget. You can search for other flashlight applications as well. Please note that HTC does not support the use of, or offer technical assistance with regard to these third party solutions. If you have any problems with the application, you will need to contact the developer of the application for further assistance.

As for the speaker, if you are unsatisfied with the volume of the speaker, you can try looking for an audio booster application on the Market as this may help the situation.

As for the signal, do you have a case on the device that could be blocking the signal? You will need to make sure you are holding the device correctly as well. Hold the device with your thumb on the bottom right side of the device and your middle finger on the bottom left side. Then use your index finger to stabilize the device by placing your index finger on the back of the device close to the center. This will help alleviate the signal being blocked simply by the way you are holding the device.
