Sometimes you can trigger a capacitive button if you're hovering over it fairly close. They go based off of disruptions in electron flow that are caused by our body's own energy. If your finger is slightly above the button, the phone might be sensitive enough to pick up the presence of your finger.

Might take some getting used to if you haven't used a capacitive device before, but it's nothing major. You should have no problems after about a week of using it
