USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

1) Do Nandroid backup first

2) Remount /system as r/w using Root Explorer

3) Open /system/build.prop in Text Editor

4) Edit the two lines as follows:

- For Android 2.3 ROMs(CM7, Phiremod, ect...)
ro.product.model=Nexus S
ro.product.manufacturer=samsung

-For Android 2.2 ROMs(Stock, Froyo, ect...)
ro.product.model=HTC Vision
ro.product.manufacturer=HTC

5) Save & Exit

6) Reboot
