The car charger is rated at 1 Amp. I bought it from
Monoprice. The phone charges everywhere but the car. The battery gets hot as if it's running something intense but I usually don't have anything running. What is strange is the discharge. Something is actually draining the battery and draining it quite rapidly. 47% to 8% in 15 mins seems pretty strange. I've had this happen almost every time I try charging. I quit doing it but decided to give it another try with the new Bonsai update. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have changed.
