Re: PRL questions

I am in a similar situation. I'm trying to get a Touch Pro 2 to run on Bell, and need to find the PRL and other NAM settings for Bell. I've got the network ID number, 16390, which Bell is using in Nova Scotia. I've added all the other Bell numbers I've been able to find, for PEI, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and 6 others, so I'm still missing some of them.

So far, I managed to get past the MSL. There are tools that will take your ESN and give you a MSL, but the TP2 only lists the MEID. If you go into ePST, though, you can "READ ONLY" and find an ESN you can use in GetSPC. That did part of the trick for me.

I'm currently using a Motorola A455 "Rival", and haven't been able to find out about data provisioning. There's a web site that sends a text message with the proper parameters, that the phone should automagically install, but it won't send to a Bell phone number. I have a plan that includes unlimited data, but haven't been able to use it because I can't get to data provisioning. I hope to avoid that with the TP2, and want to have things ready to go in advance. One odd thing Im experiencing is *-numbers and #-numbers (like *905 and #611) don't work.

So, if you have a Bell PRL, even if it's not the most recent, it's going to be better than what I have now. Please point me towards a copy, if it's not a problem.

Thanks in advance,
