Re: Tethering on the Arrive?

Well, although mango has the full capacity of tethering (by means sockets support), seems that the tethering apps wil be "banned" from marketplace.

This thanks the pressure from the carriers, same as in android "official world"
Tethering still missing from Mango [Updated] | wpcentral | Windows Phone News, Forums, and Reviews

The question is, if the xda guys can solve this, althought the clallenge is the sideload an unofficial app

Another quiestion is, if Sprint is following these bad pactice (block tethering apps). buy if not, there is high chance of this in a medium term

A final question is, if in Europe the tethering apps are not blocked, Can We do a simple trick in unbranded phones?, like it appears as an european device, and can get the tethering apps ?

Best regards
