I'm not sure what we can expect by calling/complaining to HTC alone can do about this. I think Sprint just told HTC, we won't be buying this phone if the boatloader isn't lock. HTC most likely just released a "canned" response saying that they'll look into it, just to save face with the customer. You should probably go after Sprint for this, not HTC. What does HTC gain from doing this of their own accord? I'm thinking that the removal of Carrier IQ from some ROMs made Sprint react this way, I don't agree with this of course but what can I do--except vote with my wallet...
