I was told by Sprint store that they are rolling it out in my area and may or may not get 4g yet. So I called sprint and of course get many different stories. I was told that sprint was having problems and it should be up any day. Another one told me 4g is not available in my zip code yet and that they partner with Clearwire and that is why it is coming up. What I don't understand is if it shows I am connected "sprint" 4g network and have an IP address why can I not connect. Is it sprint or more importantly my phone that is messed up?

I have been having the dropped Data problem on Sprint 4G for the last 6 months. I have used several different devices. I have elevated the issue to everyone. They say I have "On Street" coverage. My signal is the same inside my house as it is outside. So, after talking to everyone including "Clear", the network owner, this is what I finally got out of them, and it makes no sense to me. They say that the distance I am from the Cell Tower is what is making the Data Stream go away. Kinda like DSL, the closer you are the better it works? I think it is BS and the truth is that they are not making enough connections available to the users that want them in this area. I believe this to be the case because I have a much better Data stream on 4G outside of "Business" (8-5) hours. It works well in the middle of the night for example. Has anyone else ever checked out this angle thoroughly? I think they are blowing us off about the real reason we are having trouble keeping a Data stream. I think they are not providing enough connections (IP address') for the users that want them. In my opinion the real reason we are having dropped Data is because the haven't caught up on building enough 4G Towers necessary for the traffic that needs to handled, yet they keep selling new 4G service to already congested areas!
