I buy the Total Equipment Protection.

I've been burned once without it. I haven't needed it for the lifetime of my Touch Pro 2 so far, but I've read that a lot of others have needed several replacements for their Touch Pro 2.

My HTC Mogul had an issue that the Sprint store couldn't fix, and they didn't just replace it for me because I didn't have it. They said they couldn't do anything for me (it was a long ordeal going back and forth with them), and in the end I had to just buy a new phone.
