its a gray area,MS is saying the fall while all the tarado de Paul thurott sites are saying 2012 then u have the non-biased and windows based sites saying late summer to early fall, this mango update is going to be huge and will bring alot of functionality to the table while providing a smooth, stable, and reliable out of the box experience without rooting, flashing or top of the line hardware. having PC like hardware in a mobile device is unnecessary.

Hell I try not to even text using my phone.... lazydroid ftw.

heck, if your phone still works, keep it and get a tablet as a companion. Galaxy tab + smart phone that can tether = win.
LG optimus S? seriously? that phone has a small HVGA screen yet its still selling for some reason because its only $50.

my uncle from PA had a MOTO xoom and I played with it for 2 mins while they were down here for the weekend. while I do think that its better than the iFad its not for me. and getting a tablet and a smartphone on the same plan will cost more than just upgrading the smartphone.
