I'm having the same issue with no ringer post sprint internet fix also. I wish I could find out why
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0]
"Sound"="\Windows\plmo.mid"
was locked.

I can't delete it, or change it in any way. I even tried the unlock reg tool in CeRegistryEditor with no love.
