Ziggy, On a side note, I just tried imoseyons kernel (2.6.35.9) for the bolt and I would love to see you work on that or the 2.6.39 trees. That is if my assumption about newer trees being more efficient is correct.
Finally, this kernel is giving me ridiculously good battery life now. It sat on 100% for so long on day 1 that I thought there was something wrong with the device (2 hours plus)... I was shocked to find that the phone was stable with the low end being pegged to as low as 24 (did have slow wake issues). I am now running it at 61/1036 smartass and happy as a pig.

Thank you for your input.
Its irrelevant to my request however. So if it doesn't concern you, please ignore it.
He has been using this same excuse of "clean up" for 6 months. Check his blog. I post all of my source, and so do most other devs, lest they fall to the same criticism.
We don't like it when HTC breaks the GPL guidelines, so we should all lead by example.
As for the piranhas comment above, thats cute. I have no need for his code. I just feel that folks should stand up to their word. If you post on your blog that you are pulling kernels until your source gets taken care of, and then post them on another site...thats pretty messed up.
His blog about it was taken down yesterday, but google cache doesn't lie.

This doesn't have to be a big deal. Just publish your source. The source was published to you to modify, now do the open source community right and give back to it. Calling me a piranha or telling me how my needs don't matter to users is pretty immature.
