Wow! That sucks!
I thought that would work for sure.

Maybe if you installed ActiveSync directly after removing uninstalling everything and sync at least once then reboot pc then install Office then try sync again. Is the Office version you have an Upgrade version or Full Version? If you can do a full fresh install I would think that would be better.
