It booted fine and I added the Sense 3.0 lockscreen APK and then tried another recovery to backup. Backed up fine and reboot got stuck AGAIN!!. So I just reflashed the ROM and left it. The phone can go to sleep, and yes I have the new lock screen, than you. But I cant do any kind of power off unless I wanna reflash the ROM again. Sorry for the long post, it was a lot of trial an error last night.

well that's strange it would not boot after backing up.....but, just so u know, my GB rom w/ Sense 2.1 was originally from virus, then re-engineered by amikam, and then modified by me......I started out w/ PRI 1.90 but my awake/up times were the same so I downgraded to 1.77.....now it's good.
anytime I have boot issues, I try wiping dalvik-cache....
fyi (in case u didnt know)---if u wipe data/factory wipe, u will lose any apps I installed in the data partition. If you run Calkulins Format all, it formats the system & boot partitions, so it will definitely not boot.
I only do a backup before I'm about to flash.....
