Extracting the shellres.128.dll to modify it using ResHacker = No success... since for some reason Total Commander wont move the file to a place I can grab it and using Explorer through windows wont let me copy it either...

Are you sure you followed the instructions correctly. I am 100% positive there is no infinite wait cursor if installed correctly. RealVGA does not use shellres.128, it uses shellres.96, since it 96DPI.
Instructions:
1.
Learn How To Flash Phone, Then Download ROM and Flash Phone
2. Hard Reset Phone (Hold Red Button and Restart phone)
3.After Phone Boots Go Into "Tools" then "RealVGA" in Start menu and change to 96dpi(pic below) DO NOT DISABLE PHONE SKIN
